Using the program is simple. You should see your affiliate url below which is unique to you. You can place this anywhere you like on the web or even offline and when anyone clicks the link or types it into their browser, they will be forwarded to our main page.

A cookie will then be stored on their computer for one year or until they clear their cookies (if they do that at all), so should they sign up as a paying member in that time, you will be paid a one off commission and monthly reccuring commission for their entire membership period.

These commissions are (from January 2010, until January 2010, joining fees and commissions are slightly lower):

Limited Access Membership

  • One time commission of $33 (£20)
  • Monthly commission of $2 (£1.25)

Full Access Membership

  • One time commission of $33 (£20)
  • Monthly commission of $3 (£1.90)

There's more!

If your full access sign up goes on to sign up someone else, you will also receive $1-$1.50 per month for the lifetime of that member too! How good is that and can you see the potential?

So, let's say you sign up a Mary in January 2010 who becomes a full access plus member for $110.00 and $16 per month membership, you will earn a commission of $33 for the sign up, plus $3.00 per month for the lifetime of their membership.

That means if you sign up just 10 people as plus members, you will earn $330 plus $30 per month meaning you have a free membership equivalent for yourself and two others!

But that's not all!

If you sign up Mary who then goes on to sign up John as a full access plus member, you not only get $3.00 for every month that Mary stays a member, you also get $1.50 for every month that John is a member too!

So if Mary goes on to sign up 20 full access plus members, you then get $3.00 a month for Mary's membership plus $30 per month extra for doing nothing ($1.50 per month for each of her 20 sign ups)!

Mary would be getting $60 per month too and she would have you to thank for that (20 x $3.00)!

So you can easily get your own membership for free each month by signing up just 10 people and a whole lot more besides! How many photographers or "wanna be" photographers do you know?

There are many ways to promote ATP Members but all we ask is that you do not Spam ANYWHERE. The integrity of this site is important to us.

Here are some ideas:

1. Forum Participation.

Visit forums regularly and offer advice to people where you can. Stay a regular to that forum so you become known for giving good advice. You can then throw in your link to us only to people you think may benefit from ATP Members (remember, do not spam the forums, you will be removed). You could also use your affiliate link as your signature in your user profile.

2. Google Adwords.

Learn about Google advertising by visiting Google Adwords. You can bid for certain keywords such as "learn basic DSLR photography", "learn to photograph weddings", "wedding photography training", "sell stock photography", "learn to shoot stock photography" and so on.

Remember to watch your spending and use these basic guidelines:

On average, it takes 1 in 100 clicks to make a sale so as long as your advertising costs for 100 clicks are below that of the commission you will make, you are onto a winner!

Use Google search AND Google content for maximum exposure of your ads.

Have 3 ads created on a rotating basis. That will show you the most popular converting ad and you can then tweak the other two to match or better it.

Use Yahoo and MSN's advertising too!

Good keywords to use in Adwords OR your anchor texts for links:

  • Online photography training
  • Online photography course
  • Learn digital photography
  • Learn photography online
  • DSLR training
  • DSLR photography
  • Digital SLR training
  • Learn to use a DSLR
  • Wedding Photography Tips
  • Learn wedding photography online
  • Learn stock photography
  • Stock photography tutorials
  • Selling stock photography
  • Sell stock photography
  • ...and variations of those

3. Do you have an email list?

Promote ATP Members through your list and make sure to list all the benefits of becoming a member. Explain a bit about what you have experienced here (if you are a member) and use the information on our sales page. We should have a video up that you can place on your website or within your email that contains your affiliate link too.

4. Press releases.

There are many press release agencies out there, some free (google "free press release"), some not (www.prweb.com) that you can use to promote ATP Members. Make your press release short and to the point. List the benefits of membership and make it interesting and from the point of view or perspective of a reporter. I.e...

"All Things Photography launch new private members website for photographers of all levels...absolute beginner to professional. Blah blah blah..."

5. Word of mouth

You can easily promote us using word of mouth, ads in local papers or wherever. All you need to do is go to a domain hosting company such as GoDaddy and buy a relevant domain such as www.photolearn.com (made that one up).

You can then add a redirect using your own affiliate link so when talking about us you can just say "go to photolearn.com to find out more! When they type that domain into their browser, GoDaddy will redirect them to ATP Members with your affiliate link embedded...simples!

Do remember to keep the domain relevant and photography related though and even explain to the person why you have a different domain name. Honesty is the best policy but this will allow you to promote us offline without people having to remember your full affiliate url!

6. Hide your affiliate URL

If you want to place your affiliate url on your website but don't want people to see the full link, use this code...http://www.atpmembers.com/?HendriFilyani
